Thesis Week 01: Statement
During this decade there has been a resurgence of lo-res graphics and interest in folk or primitive forms of expression. At the same time technology has advanced to a point where complex interactive man-machine systems can be developed in different contexts such as in art and education. I intend to correlate and merge both lo-res video game graphics and Andean textile art patterns to produce the visual aesthetic of a system of interactive video sculptures where the relationship between man and machine informs the behavioral patterns of both systems.
